According to media reports, the book will reveal “all that can be lawfully disclosed, providing a first-hand account of the shocking discoveries, challenges and breakthroughs that have marked the U.S. government’s investigation and understanding of UAP and non-human intelligence, as well as the effects on Stratton and his family.”
HarperCollins also owns William Morrow, the imprint that published Elizondo’s memoir. Both books reached HarperCollins through the auspice of film producer Dan Farah of Farah Films, who developed the idea for each book and acquired the film rights. Isn’t it amazing how “proof” of interdimensional space poltergeists hasn’t changed science or society but has generated perpetual government funding for ufologists’ think tanks and research programs and delivered an endless stream of book, TV, and movie opportunities? I know that if I had experienced the soul-searing, reality-shattering shock of discovering a non-human intelligence, my first move would be creating some proprietary IP for a movie deal.

Is there any way to monetize your scepticism?

A post about the publication process would be pretty cool. How does it work? What are the pitfalls? How does a bullshit artist ink a deal? In contrast, how does a serious researcher ink a deal? Why is there such a disparity between the two? Which publication companies are the best? Do you need an agent? If so, how does that process work? Do you need legal representation or does an agent cover that? How does the royalty process work? Why do you have to wait a year to get anything?
