Chris Sharp Claims Trump Is Preparing to Announce Aliens Pilot UFOs

Yesterday, Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb, the head of Donald Trump’s unpaid UAP Scientific Advisory Council, posted a video claiming that the existence of UFO NDAs implies the reality of space alien UFOs: “The question ‘why would some UAP NDAs bar disclosure to the President?’ suggests that something concrete enough to warrant this level of structural protection exists, whether that turns out to be genuinely exotic or something far more conventional but still highly sensitive.” Loeb is not a lawyer and is apparently unaware that (a) NDAs routinely block all disclosure to anyone and do not generally include presidential exceptions, (b) are not enforceable in cases of criminal activity and other specific situations, and (c) if they can be waived by the president, it means he controls them and they did not actually prevent disclosure to the president in the first place. None of this automatically implies alien tech or anything of terrible importance; I had to sign one just to appear in a UFO documentary!

​Meanwhile, Chris Sharp of The Liberation Times went viral on X after publishing a story claiming that the Trump Administration is preparing for the president to deliver an address confirming that some UFOs are spacecraft piloted by beings from another planet or dimension. Sharp’s report cites no sources for this allegation by name, attributing it only to “sources familiar with the current effort.” If Sharp can’t describe any of his anonymous sources as “a senior Administration official,” you can safely discount the report. His anonymous sources are almost certainly drawn from the interested parties who dangle the possibility of “Disclosure” to excite the UFO base. This is a low-risk strategy for them, for they can tease a speech that never comes while intimating that the Deep State stopped it from occurring.
 
Indeed, Sharp all but admits as much halfway through his breathless but empty report:

Liberation Times understands that advocates are now competing to shape what form any disclosure would take should the President decide to proceed. Sources familiar with the current effort say some private defence (sic) contractors and individuals with ties to the CIA are resisting broader disclosure.

​Sharp’s only named sources are UFO-loving Rep. Eric Burlison, via a social media post, and TV charlatan Dr. Phil McGraw, via a podcast. Neither said anything about Trump delivering a speech confirming alien contact. (George Knapp said on Tuesday evening that Robert Bigelow recently shared a Disclosure plan with Trump, and this may, in distorted form, be the source of the Liberation Times claims.)
 
Much of Sharp’s article was simply a summary of McGraw’s July 30 UFO podcast in which he asked viewers to imagine Donald Trump confirming aliens are real. Sharp took that as proof that a “personal friend” of Donald Trump (i.e. McGrawn) was “confirming” that Trump was planning a disclosure speech. (It was not.) Sharp was surprised that McGraw’s podcast drew only 69,000 viewers on YouTube. That’s probably because Dr. Phil’s primary audience isn’t UFO bros, which makes it all the weirder that Trump gave McGraw early access to the (boring) UFO files the Pentagon recently released.
