Heather Lynn Is Upset with Me

7/17/2026

Not many of you read my recent piece analyzing H Files creator Heather Lynn’s conspiracy theory about Zecharia Sitchin, Jeffrey Epstein, and an alleged Israeli effort to use the ancient astronaut theory for propaganda purposes. But Lynn did, and last night she appeared in a 5-hour X Spaces conversation in which she complained not about my criticisms of her poor scholarship but rather about how offended she felt that I mentioned the undertones of antisemitism in her conspiracy theory. The irony was rich because Lynn—who uses a pseudonym—did this in the X Space of a social media personality who goes by the name Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum’s character from Jurassic Park) and who (ironically, given his handle) focuses on promoting conspiracy theories about Jewish influence in media and politics.
I can do no better than to simply quote Lynn verbatim (starting at 2:49:39), when she begins by making statements about Sitchin’s Judaism before attempting to link me to Israel:
It's not just a passing interest. It's not just the fact he was Jewish. He was in the IDS. You know, he was born in Azerbaijan, but then he went to live as a young kid and was raised in British Mandate Palestine. So he was a colonizer in Palestine and worked for Zionism. His whole thing was trying to push Zionism. As a side gig, and in a lot of the different press all over the world that discusses him, he's also in, like, Encyclopedia Judaica, he's in the archives, he's considered a Zionist figure, but they reference his work as, you know, like, popular author or, you know, author of, you know, things about human origins.

They never say Anunnaki, ancient alien theory, etc., whatever, because they're... So, it's just important to know. And then the question is, well, how could that have peppered his worldview, perhaps? You know, and that one's come under a lot of scrutiny, as you can imagine. That one got me some hate. I got the attention of good old Jason Colavito, or whatever, the guy who has the blog where all he does is just, you know, try to take down people and debunk, which is fine. He did a whole case-by-case look at this. And what's funny is he actually, like, helped my case because he found more documents that supported it, said that he didn't realize it, but basically had to reframe my thing. If you look, he put it up on X. He added me.

I don't think I responded because it was just kind of like a waste of time. But he said, he claimed that I was saying that there was an Aryan Jesus. And it's, again, he's... He's doing what a lot of people do, whether he's doing it in good faith or he's just manipulative, not understanding what a historiography is, which is very important to understand. It is the history of the history of. So I'm laying out the discussion of this is what happened, this is how people perceived that, this is the arguments that came about, these are basically the academic beefs that went on. So just because I'm presenting all of those different viewpoints doesn't mean I'm adhering to any of them.

But... He would rather go on there and say that I was trying to push an Aryan Jesus narrative, that I'm anti-Semitic, that I'm blaming the Jews. And what's the funniest is he's so anti-ancient alien in any way. He's anti-Sitchin. But it's so funny how people's push to support Israel will get them to support and advocate the things they've always been against.
It’s rather surprising how little Lynn understands. The least important point: I didn’t “add her” on Substack out of deep interest in her work. I had to subscribe to her free tier in order to read her otherwise paywalled article. A shocking mystery, I know, but one she might have realized by … reading her own Substack blog’s membership terms.

It’s also clear that she, like most of my critics, has not engaged with my work beyond searching for their own name and whatever topic is of interest to them. To say I do nothing but “take down people and debunk” is ludicrous. It is certainly what I was once known for, but it was never all I do. None of my books, for instance, is a “debunking,” and my work on the medieval Arabic-language pyramid myth may well be my most lasting contribution to scholarship. I proved Alfonso the Great had a real Arabic source for the ancient Egyptian history he attributes to Ibrahim ibn Wasif Shah—something not even the experts who study him for a living had been able to do. But I will concede that most people don’t read my scholarship; they just want the drama. In short: I wrote a major feature in Archaeology magazine this month, and Lynn is on X ranting about Jewish influence.

Lynn’s comment that it was “funny” that I helped her case by uncovering “documents” before claiming that I don’t understand historiography is doubly rich. As you might recognize: Scholarship involves a fair appraisal of evidence, not merely one-sided propaganda. I presented what I found because it is the truth, not merely the story I hoped to tell. Lynn conveniently overlooks that I was able to find this information in an afternoon, while she—who claims to be a historian (though, as I understand it, her PhD is not in history)—failed to do even basic historical research into her subject. Yes, I was surprised by what I found, particularly Sitchin’s personal wealth and his corporate history. That is how research works. You learn things you didn’t know. Sitchin has never been a particular fascination of mine, so there was much for me to learn. Again: That’s what research is supposed to be for.

That also means having reading comprehension. I did not accuse Lynn of supporting Aryan Jesus. She specifically cited Friedrich Delitzsch, and—in examining the “history of history,” so to speak—I explained that his Babel-and-Bible ideas ended with his student Paul Haupt used them to develop the Aryan Jesus hypothesis. (She also brings it up at 2:43:46, where she both doesn’t realize the idea is Haupt’s, not Delitzsch’s, and seems to misunderstand “Aryan” as a reference to Nazism.) I never attributed this idea to her but instead discussed it in countering her notion that Assyriology was a “Protestant project” intended to disinherit Jews from Chrisitan religious history. As I mentioned, Panbabylonism was only one of many competing ideas floating around Assyriology discourse in the 1900s.

That probably reflects the reason she said she did not respond to me. It’s not so much that it is a “waste of time” as she claims but rather because she knows that my research and analytical skills easily outpace hers and one cannot win an argument when one is not in command of the facts. This is a “researcher,” after all, who sought to create a conspiracy theory around Jeffrey Epstein without thinking to consult the Epstein files.

Lynn’s final bit about how my supposed love for Israel induced me to make common cause with the dread enemy Zecharia Sitchin both answers her objection to claims of antisemitism with an own-goal and shows how deeply she misunderstands the idea of historical research. First, I can’t recall ever having taken any public position on the state of Israel. Beyond that, there is no contradiction between saying that Sitchin lived a rich, varied, and interesting life and saying that his ancient astronaut research is false and dangerous. To oppose the ancient astronaut idea on evidentiary grounds is not synonymous with automatically demonizing the people who support it. (Some deserve that treatment, to be sure, but thy earn that opprobrium through their odious behavior.) Seconds earlier, Lynn said “just because I'm presenting all of those different viewpoints doesn't mean I’m adhering to any of them” but can’t imagine that anyone else might be able to find someone’s life story interesting without endorsing their conclusions, or their political activities for that matter.

I think we can all understand this. I have written about H. P. Lovecraft, a compelling writer and fascinating figure, who was nevertheless a loathsome racist and archconservative, and I have written about Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria, who was a humane and liberal leader and a brilliant skeptic of the paranormal, but also an adulterer, borderline pedophile, and murderer.

And for the record, I did not accuse Lynn of being antisemitic. I said she “buts up against antisemitic stereotypes” in her piece and pointed to places where she alluded to anti-Jewish tropes alongside places where her feelings about Israel are quite clear. It is, of course, difficult to draw clear lines between antisemitism, anti-Zionism, and political opposition to either the state of Israel or the current Netanyahu government. They are not the same, as Lynn halfheartedly notes here (around 2:33:28), and I cannot begin to know what is in Lynn’s heart. But she chose to address this by going to the forum of a man who started this very X Space event by talking about “the Jewish question, or Jewish supremacy” and opining that America will be “enslaved” by Jews. And she chose to discuss in response to Malcolm’s claims about Jewish “overrepresentation” her conclusion that modern Israel is the product of an evil occult death-worshiping society of archaeologist and Assyriologists, “peppered with Zionism,” whose six-pointed star originated in Sumerian paganism.

You know, totally normal stuff people talk about when someone mentions Jews.

Antisemitism is such a hot potato right now. How can anyone say anything about Jews or Israel without offending anyone and everyone!!

I personally have very mixed and conflicted feelings about Judaism and Jewishness. I credit the Jews for standing to royal power and paying the price for it. I respect the Jewish culture of education and "failure-is-not-an-option" self-reliance. Yet, I pity them for still being "trapped in a bad play."

Regarding Crown Prince Rudolf, have you read the book, "He Did Not Die at Mayerling"? There were a couple of movies based on it, one starring Omar Sherrif. In brief, the book claims that Rudolf, not wanting to become the tragic last king of Austria, faked his own death and resolved instead to play a part of the rise of the Americas.

Reminder: This is a man who insists there's a 1:1 correlation between the Sons of Israel and the Egyptian gods, if you gender flip half of them and ignore the relationships between Egyptian deities. This is also a man who believes in a hidden, Elders of Zion style international Deep State, and has on this very blog asserted the Holocaust was good for Jews.

"Note to JC: What is the point of having a moderator if you allow this kind of vulgar harassment and targeting?" I don''t know what Jesus Christ would say, but you sound like The Compleat Idiot.

If you'd experienced vulgar harrassment and targeting you'd know it and would be cowering in your makeshift post-apocalyptic litter box.

For the record I read your other post and your article in Archaeology. The latter was very interesting.

You are doing a great job of getting under the skin of the ancient alien crowd and those adjacent to them. There “beliefs” can’t stand up to even the most basic scientific analysis / historical analysis so they lash out at their critics.

Being called anti-Semitic is the latest buzzword. Those who love to throw it around can’t fathom that one could have issues with the Jewish religion / race but have serious issues with Zionism and the policies of Israel.

I for one think the way Israel was created was major mistake. However it now exists and has a right to continue to do so. I mostly agree with what happened to Gaza after Oct 7 but think the settlements in the West Bank should be removed.

Evidently, to even mention the Holocaust now puts one at risk of accusations. I recently gave some insights on this and one of the posters feels the need to reply to every post I make by misrepresenting my statements and accusing me of antisemitism. So, let me break it down in such a way that even a 5th Grader can understand it, although that still might not be simple enough for a G'runt.

The equivalence of "Jacob & Sons" and the Egyptian pantheon is patently true. The god Ra was not initially head of the Egyptian pantheon, but was a type of usurper, i.e., "Jacob the Grabber." The god Geb was sexually intemperate and even raped his own mother. Reuben was disgraced for sleeping with one of Jacob's wives. Set and Thoth were complicit in the murder of Osiris. Likewise, Levi and Simeon killed the king of Shechem, a name that relates to the Egyptian Sekh-em and to Osiris/Sokar. Issachar son of Jacob of the New Kingdom was not necessarily murdered, but some type of ritual dramatization was played out.

The god Ptah was associated with water and so was Joseph (as in the Bahr Yussef of Egypt). The parallels continue with the remainder of "Jacob's sons." What a powerful insight this is!!
We can debate exactly what it means (e.g., the Israelites "sojourned" in Egypt for a long time), but the parallel is quite real and intentional on the part of the author of Genesis. What would prevent someone from even considering this? Is it because the world is still so ignorant and tribalistic, and our illustrious co-leaders want to keep it that way?

Regarding Moses, this too was a role derived from the Egyptian pantheon and one that was acted out in every major dynasty. It is perhaps even a bigger surprise that the role is still being used to manipulate the modern world. Do I like or approve of that? No!! Does pointing it out automatically make me antisemitic. No!!

I did not say that the Holocaust was a good thing. I only pointed out that the status of those Jews that survived is now much elevated. How can that be construed as being inherently antisemitic? Do I have to be every Jew's friend? No, I choose my friends on an individual basis. Do I approve of the State of Israel? Well, it happened before I was born and nobody asked me to ratify (lol). They could have made Florida the new Jewish homeland in the 1940's. Nobody wanted to live there, either.

@Crash55 - He also called Hitler a German Moses and said that the Exodus was a concentration camp. I refuse to interact directly with him at this point, but it's not simply a matter of one slip of the tongue.

It was not a slip, Hitler was exactly that!! And, not because I said it. If you don't understand it, then you have a reading (and history) comprehension problem.

During Trump's first term, a manufactured (gain-of-function) epidemic was followed up with a manufactured (pre-patented) remedy. There were mandatory injections (for the working class) and de facto euthanizing of the elderly. This was followed during the Biden Administration with mutilation of children, extreme propaganda and censorship, lockdowns, massive human trafficking, race-baiting, gender-baiting, targeting of political opponents, openly communist rhetoric and the first openly communist presidential ticket. It was a "great tribulation" and most outrageous totalitarian state of our lifetimes. It took all of that and more (e.g., calling out "Pharaoh Biden" to a "staged duel") to just barely get Trump re-elected.

Once back in office, Trump, far from trying to deny or disprove any Hitler association or role, began quite consciously completing it. He had already been associated with a "failed putsch" and "brought before the magistrates." He has also now survived multiple assassination attempts. After a miraculous political comeback, which involved thrashing an aggressive strain of communism, he immediately called for "lebensraum" in Panama, Canada and Greenland.

Trump wanted a quick deal (or "pact," if you will) with Putin like the one Hitler made with Stalin. He absolutely knows that Russia is a potential trap for his typecasting, but the precedent is being acknowledged anyway. Moreover, Jews are being put through an ordeal, both in Israel and in America.

The difference between Trump and Hitler is that Trump is not necessarily being tasked with "taking the fall" and bringing the "Egypt" of his time down with him. This is NOT likely something the ruling elites can afford to do right now, even if they intend to at some point. Where else would they set up shop? Invite them to your own country, you'll be charmed, I'm sure!!

The unfurling of another "Moses Scenario" in our times sends a clear signal. The royal and ancient institution of kingship (if not also queenship) is still alive (if not well). "Trump Time" is not over yet. A "10th Plague" could still be unleashed if things don't go according to plan.

The Moses role is obviously based upon the figure of Azazel / Shemhazah of the Book of Enoch. He was an authoritarian that led a mission to Earth characterized by austerity and deprivation. There would have been much to "grumble" about, both from his officers and their "captive" passengers. An entire "generation" may have perished en route. And, once they got to their destination, they still had to fight, not only on Earth but in nearby star systems. Next came a different sort of genocide when native hominid species on Earth were first exploited for their labor ("making bricks without straw") and then wiped out to create a "promised land" for modern humans.

The Moses role was (and still is) an ugly one. There's no way to sugarcoat it. Not recognizing it just makes you ignorant.

Nobody before you conflated Azazel and Shemhazah, the two leaders of the watchers into one leader, let alone conflating either of them with Moses. Are you privy to some private revelations no one before you knew about?

Azazel stands out because he reportedly "imprecated" his fellow watchers to join in his guilt and rebellion against the Most High, out of fear he would bear the worst punishment alone, but it was in vain since you can't fool the Most High, so he did bear the worst punishment alone anyway.

Is there a measurement for how much "handwaving" is required to make Moses look like them?

P.S.

I fully realize that what I am revealing is a very, very hard thing. Yet, the royal family has been extremely hard on the Jews ever since they rejected the Moses aspect of Jesus. The Jews are finally back in favor under the leadership of a new Moses. Will they remain that way? There is growing dissent in Israel, but cooperation since the Oct. 7 event has been quite strong.

Will Jews in America vote to help keep Trump and Republicans in power? That also remains to be seen. And what if they don't? Democrats are going to cut Israel off and could ramp up antisemitism in the States, both of which would likely lead to other horrors. It's a bad, off=Broadway play, no matter how you look at it.

Our illustrious co-leaders are committed to the Moses role. One of their own always has to "take one for the team." One of their own stepped up to play Napoleon and another one later agreed to forever be damned as Hitler. I could tell you who those royals were, but can anyone accept it? I don't think Trump wants to be remembered that way, especially as the American Hitler. He may even be trying to rehabilitate the role. But, again, that's not what the role has traditionally been used for, i.e., dong the hard, unpopular, dirty, brutal work that leads to a "transformed" world, like taking out the IRGC of Iran. Love it, hate it, how do we evade it???

The Moses role is all about incurring "a blessing OR a curse." Yet, curses are like baseball records, eventually they get broken. Recall that a curse was put upon anyone that dared to rebuild the city of Jericho. Somebody came along and decided it was worth the risk. Either that, or he didn't like two of his sons very much (lol).

Azazel is the word used for the sacrificial offering of a "scapegoat" in the Book of Leviticus, and this is exactly what the Watcher Azazel was offering himself up to be. In Hebrew, az (and related words such as chazaq) has the direct meaning of "mighty." The name Azazel then connotes "Doubly Strong God." So, he is also the GOAT. He is willing to "take one for the team," but he expects the same from his colleagues. There is a very distinct "warrior ethos" going on here. The Indo-European root az means "serpent." Recall that Moses commanded a serpent to be lifted up as an antidote for the curse of a plague.

The leading Watchers all had multiple names. Shemhazah includes the az (of Azazel), but in the fuller form hazah, again meaning "mighty." Hazah/Chazaq forms the basis of the name Hezekiah, who also brought a curse upon himself that was at least partially commuted. The other element, Shem, was of course a venerated name in the Bible, and the name literally means just that, i.e., "fame, renown." So, Shemhazah yields "Great Fame." Still, we know that Shemhazah didn't play by all the rules. He became Shem-ahaz, a "Legendary Grabber" on the order of Biblical Jacob.

In the early chapters of Genesis, Shemhazah / Azazel also has two names. He is the god Adam (ala the Egyptian god Atum, and deliberately conflated with the first modern human). Later, after his controversial descent, he is given a new name, Irad, which embodies the name Ra, but in Hebrew means "fugitive." Recall that Moses also became an outlaw and had to flee from Egypt.

Nobody before you ever conflated Azazel and Shemhazah, the two leaders of the watchers into one leader, let alone conflating either of them with Moses. So are you privy to some private revelations no one before you knew about?

Or how exactly did you obtain this novel "information" that Azazel and Shemhazah were really the same person? Who was also the same as Moses, or perhaps I should say the first Moses rather, since you seem to believe Moses and the Exodus are cyclical events that happen every few centuries?

That first "genealogy" in Genesis is that of the ancient pantheon:

Eve = Tiamat (Rahab) / Iusaas (Greek Saosis)
Abel = Enlil / Shu (Asher) partner of Ninlil / Tefnut
Cain = Anu / On (Gad)
Enoch = Enki / Ptah (Joseph)
Irad = Shamash / Ra (Jacob / Fallen Adam)
Mehujael - Dumuzi / Osiris (Issachar)
Mehushael = Adad / Horus the Elder (Judah)
Lamech = Nabu / Thoth (Simeon)
Adah & Zillah = Ereshkigal / Nephthys (Greek Eos) and Nidaba / Maat / Neith
Naamah = Inanna / Isis
Noah = Adapa / Minh

The god Set (Levi) is downplayed in the first genealogy, but his "divine type" is rehabilitated as Seth in the second genealogy of Genesis, as well as by the Levitical priesthood. Disgraced Geb (Reuben) is likewise omitted, but is a basis for the later, somewhat redeemed, Nimrod.

Adam, as with the Egyptian Atum, is considered "the granddaddy of them all," but primarily in the sense of being foremost among near equals. Shemhazah / Azazel was leader of the mission, at least until he was relieved of that duty and (ala the Moses story) went into a kind of "Exile."

There is also a generational aspect of the pantheon in Egyptian myth. The Book of Genesis is capturing that element, as well. The "olden gods" give way to the "younger ones," and they eventually are succeeded by "heroes (nephilim)" and "mortals." It is intentionally mirroring the larger cosmic evolution of Titans being superseded by Olympians followed by Demi-Gods and then by Mortal Men.

There are many themes tightly packed into that little list of early Patriarchs in Genesis. Genesis is written from a strongly Enochian (Egyptian Ptah, Hebrew Joseph) perspective, which is characterized by dense, symbolic, esoteric, encrypted language, and includes puzzles for the reader to solve. It's the same mentality that went into the design of the Great Pyramid. It contains a wealth of knowledge in geometric and symbolic form, and it has to be unpacked or "decoded."

In the Genesis account, the author is overlaying cosmology, mythology and anthropology in the very same narrative. It's not how we do things today. Academics prefer to separate everything out to be studies in isolation. However, the ancients saw everything as conforming to the same or similar pattern, but on a different scale. It creates a mnemonic and teaching structure.

I found some additional information about the name Azazel. In the Talmud, it also refers to the cliff that the scapegoat offering is thrown over. Goats are of course incredible climbers, so that cliff had to be extremely steep. The fall of the leader of the Watchers was apparently just as precipitous. And, yet he still attempted a comeback (leading to that archetypal "Exodus" event).

In other extra-biblical tradition, Azazel is associated with the Serpent of Eden. That's a surprise, but there is even a basis for this. The Egyptian Atum is a dual concept and derives from the originally binary nature of our early solar system. Atum is described as having "two eyes," one is bright and perfect, the other weak and underdeveloped. One "eye" is our main sequence star, the other is it's red dwarf twin, which is further identified as the evil serpent Apep ("Dan") in the Egyptian formulation. Even this abstract concept of a "stellar nursery" is rolled up into the Book of Genesis account. On an even grander scale, Atum represents the Supermassive Black Hole (Sagittarius A Star) and its "nemesis" Cygnus X-1.

The Book of Enoch was written with an even more patriarchal gloss than the Genesis account. (Cain has a wife, but she isn't named.) There are no female Watchers, at least none that are explicitly identified as such. But, of course, there must have been. Also, the figure of Enoch is special, even as Enoch stands apart in the Book of Genesis. It can be discerned that he is actually one of the Watchers, but considered the only "righteous" one among them, which is again consistent with the bias found in the Book of Genesis.

In contrast, the Sumerian myths make out Enoch's counterpart Enki to be so over-the-top procreative that the leading goddess had to punish him (and later heal him). The "next gen" figure of Noah conforms to the same stereotype. He is considered righteous (at least in the Genesis tradition), but in other accounts, including other Biblical accounts, he is remembered as a sex addict and oppressive taskmaster.

For context to anyone who just showed up to this party.

Who needs Holocaust Deniers when we have a G'runt?

"Hitler was the German Moses! The Holocaust was good for Jews actually!"

Is now too late to leave a reply here? I found more relevant links in a blog posted on Tuesday night.

https://mcmmadnessnews.blogspot.com/2026/07/the-rituals-to-change-world.html

I skimmed and skipped most of it. Why does that blog contain so many pictures and quotes from songs, movies, television shows, and other media? Do you remember Naomi Wolf?

https://brownstone.org/articles/have-the-ancient-gods-returned/

What would happen if Heather Lynn ever met Naomi Wolf? Brownstone Institute was rated by Media Bias Fact Check.

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/brownstone-institute-bias/

A two hours long video of Third Eye Drops with Michael Phillip interviewing Taylor McMahon may be relevant to Heather Lynn.

https://www.uapdrop.com/l/view/Iv59lqGlMPM.html

Would be great if you or someone could make sense of all of that.

A librarian retweeted a tweet about a deal named Project Nimbus.

https://x.com/duncan_shona/status/1983754039805538654

According to a labor union's website, one worker at Google was forced to resign after opposing the company's contract with Israel.

https://www.alphabetworkersunion.org/press/jewish-google-worker-forced-to-resign-after-opposing-companys-1-2-billion-contract-with-israel

Does this have anything at all to do with any occult conspiracies? X users tweeted beliefs about artificial intelligence and portals.

https://x.com/Jasper_Truth/status/2046635312873631819

Conspiracy theories make the real horrors of tech seem less bad.

Do the Dog Days of Summer have anything to do with this story?

https://rigorousintuition.blogspot.com/2005/06/americas-dog-star-days.html

Another X user said Silicon Valley's cults stem from Blavatsky.

https://x.com/ehret_matthew/status/2078984479469953173

Seems relevant to Heather Lynn's other articles about Theosophy.

Those URLs are only a sampling of tragic conspiracy nonsense.
