The Express reported today that Graham Hancock has denounced white supremacy as "a stupid cult" after a Neo-Nazi was seen on video explaining the value of Hancock's Ancient Apocalypse as a white nationalist recruitment tool. According to the Express, Neo-Nazi Harold Lloyd said that Hancock's work was "like listening to Third Reich archaeology, without the baggage" and could introduce viewers to the idea that indigenous people were unable to develop high culture absent outside help, without the explicit appeals to racism found in Nazism. "It's actually a good way of introducing people to white superiority.... It's a nice little intro to Racialism," Lloyd said. Hancock gave an interview to the Express where he defended some of the claims Neo-Nazis most enjoy, especially the claim that survivors of the lost civilization who seeded culture in the Americas were white-skinned. He insisted, however, that he does not deny that indigenous people built their own works--just 48 hours after the new series of Ancient Apocalypse showed Hancock attributing the statues of Easter Island, the rongorongo writing system, and most Inca architecture to an Ice Age lost civilization. "I do not dismiss or undervalue indigenous cultures," Hancock said before adding that it is personally hurtful to him that his grandchildren are reading online that he advocates racist ideas.

There are many who worship H. P. Lovecraft. He's an example of anti-Semitism.

Lets put forward a hypothesis that the lost civilization was white. Is the Creator racist then?

Reading "Neo-Nazi Harold Lloyd" set me back too until my brain clicked, glad to see I wasn't the only one.

People allow themselves to be conned because of what's claimed by educated people using highbrow language. They are far from intelligent and you cannot get University Degrees in Common Sense otherwise they would all FAIL.

Highbrow educated language says that it is beach rock. Non-highbrow and non-educated language says it is an alien landing strip or a road built by white guys from Antarctica 13k years ago. Highbrow educated language says that they are natural rock formations on mars. The opposite says alien megaliths whose existence NASA wants to hide. Ditto for people using psychic power to build pyramids, etc. But hancock is a millionaire from selling that crap. I think we know where the intelligence and common sense are concentrated when it comes to producers and consumers versus critics of grammy.

Too bad Jason can't respond to Hancock like Ed Barnhart did on Lex without resorting to racism and white supremacy.

Except that the majority of colavito's criticisms consist of basic fact checking of hancock compared to the amount of time discussing the racial implications of Hancock's spiel. Whining about people bringing up the racial angle has turned into a tired one trick pony routine that his fans try to substitute for challenging the other 90 percent of the criticism of hancock.

Someone should tell Lloyd that Hancock is married to a black woman. That would ruin his day.

It's racist to say being married to a black woman would ruin his day.

People whining about people bringing up the bankruptcy of those constantly bringing up racial ideology because they have nothing else to bring up is a tired one trick pony of folks who can't think rationally.

Indeed, pretty bad when someone like Hancock decides that a statue in Mexico looks distinctly Caucasian or anglo-saxon. Or dismisses the achievements of the Maya since he doubts that what he calls semi-civilized jungle-dwelling Indians could do it without help. Kind of loaded with racial ideology.

When someone who has spent decades spreading white supremacist claims without explicitly saying racist slurs. You shouldn't trust them when they claim not to be racist

You shouldn't trust people who cannot write coherent sentences. Didn't I see you and Jason on that new documentary Am I A Racist?
