Review of Ancient Aliens S22E12: “Hidden Messages” (Special Edition)

Oh, look: It’s another “special edition” of Ancient Aliens recycling segments from past shows. Last season, there were six clip shows across seventeen episodes, but they aired consecutively. This season, we have had five clip shows across the first twelve episodes, spread out in between new outings. As I believe most of you know, clip shows used to air under their own spin-off titles and were not counted as part of the mothership (ha!) series’ episode numbering. However, starting in 2023, Ancient Aliens began producing a different line of clip shows—billed as “Top Ten” episodes—that were officially part of the season. This allowed them to fill out a supersized 20-episode season with just 15 original episodes. Once they set the precedent, the number of Top Ten episodes increased even as the per-season episode order declined. This season, they gave entirely on the Top Ten conceit, and the official in-season clip shows are now indistinguishable from the clip shows that air as spin-off series and specials.

All of which is a long way of saying I have no idea what this week’s segments have to do with each other except that they fit in the time allotted. Putatively, they are about “messages”—a topic that already had its own episode back in 2014 (see below)—but that’s nearly as vague as the last clip show, about “sightings.” Indeed, some of the “messages” covered in this episode are not even messages from aliens but rather messages for aliens, and the show makes no distinction between the two categories.

A discussion of stone walls, geoglyphs, and petroglyphs, taken from the first segment from “The Desert Codes” (2018).
A discussion of the Badlands Guardian (actually, a natural formation) from the episode entitled “The Badlands Guardian” (2019).
A discussion of Peru and the Band of Holes from “Alien Messages” (2014)—a topic now out of date since the recent scholarly evidence that the Band of Holes was in fact an ancient marketplace.
A discussion of the Olmec heads from “The Mystery of the Stone Giants” (2020).
A discussion of crop circles and cymatic patterns from the fourth segment of “The Crop Circle Code” (2023).
A discussion of yet another crop circle, from the second segment of “The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence” (2024).

This is another episode with a misnomer. None of the features they mention were actually hidden. The Olmec heads may have been mostly buried, but they are still quite large objects. And there is no indication that they encode magnetic messages and are actually "talking heads" (lol). I suppose they could have served as magnetic markers of some kind.

As far as I know, crop circles are produced without any discernible (witnessed) sound. So, that begs the question, “What is the point of emulating a cymatic pattern in a crop circle?” Artistic representation of a single, fixed frequency (vibration) is not a form of communication, per se. Do aliens indulge in graffiti?

It’s getting more difficult to tell when academic “talking heads” are expressing their own views as opposed to simply reciting a prepared script that has been sent to them. Dr. Travis Taylor appeared to just be reading from a script in his segment, and even saying something that he wouldn't be expected to agree with. Many of the new pop science shows (e.g., "What on Earth?" of this ilk are obviously scripted. It may be a contractual requirement for the regular “talking heads” to read off whatever the documentary maker’s script writer has decided to present.

It is very disappointing that the AA team is not re-investing more of their profits into creating new or updated content. They seem content to simply cash in. But, at what point do ratings begin to plummet? At what point does the topic and the AA team begin to suffer from “over-exposure?” (Already there IMO.) Or, do they plan to put out endless repetitions until their fan base completely accepts even the most speculative claims.

Reminder: This is a man who insists there's a 1:1 correlation between the Sons of Israel and the Egyptian gods, if you gender flip half of them and ignore the relationships between Egyptian deities. This is also a man who believes in a hidden, Elders of Zion style international Deep State, and has on this very blog asserted the Holocaust was good for Jews.

It's difficult to imagine The Band of Holes as a market place. Such a vast array of pits stretching a great distance over uneven ground doesn't look customer or trader friendly. Filling the pits with varying goods would also be impractical as the pits are so close together, and there are so many. Carrying grain to the location and carefully pouring it into a pit (without falling into an adjacent pit) then trading it for the cotton that's been placed in pit No. 3565 hundreds of yards away appears somewhat irrational. The archaeologists seem to have based their conclusions on pollens found in the pits. But surely the pits will act as a natural receptacle for airborne pollen carried over the centuries.

The government has been briefing religious leaders, such as Perry Stone and Shane Warren, regarding an upcoming disclosure event about the "alien" presence on Earth, and one that would tend to confirm the Book of Enoch's view as opposed to more orthodox positions. (I actually saw a new publication called "The Ethiopian Bible" in my local bookstore today.)

This appears to be a courtesy to the religious communities, and to prepare them to counter (or "spin") what is now being made public, and which will conceivably reboot human civilization. Of course, this could be another "pump fake" in order to justify the government's increasing investment in space.

There was another UFO drop this past week. Included are a few interesting videos and anecdotal (case study) documents. This will certainly breathe new life into the Ancient Aliens series, but what has been released thus far is not exactly transformative.

In terms of a mythological (rather than purely biblical) explanation, there is a basis / precedent for a "change in command" at the end of an interglacial period. Shemhazah (Ra / Shamash, a "solar scientist"), initial leader of the infamous Watchers, was replaced at the end of the last interglacial in favor of a "cold climate specialist."

During the last ice age, leadership was assumed by the Watchers Gadreel / Anan-el (Anu / Oannes), however Ur-el (Shu / Enlil) and other Watchers were rotated into leadership positions over time. If giving Earth and its hominids a makeover was a group project, then It follows that various members of that group might take turns as the head of it, probably by prior agreement, but possibly also with some conflict. Whose turn is it now?

Why should we expect any significant disclosure about the ET Phenomenon? It is still all about controlling the narrative. The Republican Party is mainly concerned about losing a large part of their voting block. So, believers are being told to keep on believing, but as for our illustrious co-leaders, they seem to have already made their “Deal with the Devil” and it might be too late to pivot.

As much as I would like to see the Earth placed “under new management,” that does NOT appear to be what's happening. We are not yet at the end of the interglacial period. From the perspective of our illustrious co-leaders and the top 1%, the “Golden Age” is already in full swing. The concentration of wealth and influence over all components of society (gov’t, media, education, judicial, medical/pharmaceutical, technology, energy, etc., etc.) has never been greater.

It has also now been made abundantly clear that gain-of-function bio-weapons and mRNA technology will be used for world population control. “Wars and rumors of wars” are not even necessary. Uncooperative groups can be “surgically removed.”

Has Archangel Michael (Book of Daniel 10 & 12) returned to deal with “The Prince of Persia”? Both parties have been talking about Iran for decades, but they are finally forced to take action. So, this just looks like business as usual for the royal and ancient Deep State, and for the purpose of maintaining the current hegemony. It is not likely a changing-of-the-guard to a new world of love and light and with full consciousness of our place in the cosmos.
