They're Demons! An Infernal Explanation Is Rapidly Becoming a Major UFO Theory

6/2/2026

I will admit to being surprised by the sudden turn ufology took into Satanic Panic. Over the last few weeks, the leading lights in government ufology appear to have reached a consensus that UFOs are in fact demons. Literal demons. From Hell. After Vice President JD Vance announced his belief that flying saucers are the Prince of the Air’s private jets, all hell—metaphorically—broke loose in the UFO world, with other Republicans jumping on the license to talk about Fallen Angels, Nephilim, and demons. This culminated over the weekend in a New York Times report about the possibility that flying saucers are aerial demons—a claim so absurd that it’s hard to imagine another time when the Paper of Record would openly entertain such a thought.
The article came only hours after Tucker Carlson devoted his show to the role of Nephilim and demons on the earth and was pegged to recent claims that ex-government operatives met with pastors to warn about the religious crisis UFO “Disclosure” might produce.

The Times article does not indicate that the paper made any effort to verify the identity of the two men who allegedly briefed the pastors, nor to inquire into whether they had any current connection to government. Religion reporter Ruth Graham appears to have simply taken Pastor Alan DiDio at his word.

Graham interviewed omnipresent religion scholar and paranormal enthusiast Jeffrey Kripal about the sky demons, and his response was, frankly, shocking for a scholar of religion, more Ancient Aliens than scholarly:
“The U.F.O. topic in particular is a big challenge to any religious worldview,” said Jeffrey Kripal, a professor of religion at Rice University, where he has compiled an archive on paranormal subjects, including accounts from U.F.O. “experiencers.”

In Dr. Kripal’s view, the origin stories of many earth-based religions can be read as descriptions of encounters with unexplained entities of unknown provenance.

“The gods have always come from the sky, and we call that religion,” he said. “We don’t have a lot of words in the Western canon for these entities of the middle realm, so my own feeling is that when religious people look out and they see entities that don’t fit into their religious world, they call them demons.”
The gods have most decidedly not always come from the sky—a claim that derives more from ancient astronaut theorists than from religious studies. There are certainly cultures that associated the gods with the sky. Ancient China, for example, saw the gods as manifestations of heavenly power centered on the celestial pole. There are other cultures, like the Maya, where the connection is more ambiguous, positing the firmament as all that existed before the formation of the Earth. But in the Near East, the primeval gods were typically born from primeval chaos, from the earth, or from the elements. They do not, in general, arrive from the sky. For instance, the Greek gods were explicitly not sky gods. The Olympians were born from the Titans, who were born from the Earth itself (after being impregnated by Heaven) and lived in the earth, on mountains, or in the sea. Similarly, Mesopotamian mythology posited a primeval ocean from which the first beings sprung, until a god (Marduk in the Babylonian version) created land from the body of the chaos-monster Tiamat. As Sanchuniathon reported, the Phoenicians shared the same belief, that from Chaos and the primeval waters, the first gods (the Overseers of the Heavens) emerged, and the gods of the pantheon were born on Earth.

The Celts did not have one universal creation myth, but the story of Eiocha tells of the first gods being born on the primeval Earth, while Polynesian myths share with Near Eastern stories the idea that in the primal chaos Heaven and Earth mated, producing the first gods from the Earth itself.

Indeed, many cultures would not be able to conceive of gods that came from the sky because they believed the Earth was the center of creation and the sky was a dome covering it. Mesopotamia, Greece, Canaan all agreed on this, and cultures as far away as ancient China and North America had the same idea. Even when the gods were associated with “Heaven,” heaven was not always necessarily considered outer space or the sky but some other dimension that stood outside of physical reality or sat atop the dome over the earth.

In short, the situation is much more ambiguous than Kripal makes it sound. While many stories can be read as having a heavenly component, it is only modern UFO mythology that transforms the otherworld of heaven into outer space and travel from the divine realm to the human one as a literal descent from the sky.

But that isn’t really the point, is it? Believers are looking for ways to link UFOs to pagan gods, whom the Church already declared to be fallen angels or demons thousands of years ago. Anything that reinforces that identification helps.

Therefore, it was unsurprising that yesterday, Msgr. Stephen Rossetti, a Catholic priest and well-known exorcist (he describes himself as the Chief Exorcist for the Archdiocese of Washington), hopped on the bandwagon, posting to his pastoral YouTube channel that UFOs are in fact demons in disguise: “Not too long ago someone who had a particular gift—and we’ve documented that gift—and she was shown a picture of a UFO, and she said it’s a demon.”

Demon enthusiasts also jumped on comments from Rep. Lauren Boebert, who told Real America’s Voice this week that in the still-classified UFO files, “There is a lot to do with even ‘portals,’ and I’m interested in more information of that coming out as well. […] Is there breeding between these biological beings and humans? […] We’re just asking the questions.” Of course, mention of portals, like the CIA files mentioning Noah’s Ark or the FBI files mentioning Bigfoot, does not make them real. She then gave the game away by adding that the true issue is that defense contractors are “too big” to answer to Congress and these questions are a way of imposing accountability on entities that think themselves more powerful than the government.

Conservative religious types on social media ignored that context and instead linked Boebert’s comments to the Nephilim and Watchers, speculating that the government has proof that the Watchers teleport from another dimension to mate with humans, as the Sons of God did to the daughters of men in Genesis 6:4.

Rep. Tim Burchett claimed on NewsNation that these religious fears about demons and Nephilim have led people in the Pentagon to block or slow-walk the order by President Trump to release UFO files. “They’re gonna take this high road and say it’s gonna disrupt religion,” Burchett said. “I don’t buy that. As a Christian, that doesn’t affect me one bit. I think they need to disclose everything.”

All of this talk of demons and Nephilim is logical in a perverted way, I suppose. If your fundamental belief is that God chose Donald Trump as His representative on Earth, born to usher in the Millennium, then it stands to reason that Satan would send his minions to fight Trump’s divinely blessed military in an attempt to stave off the Second Coming.

UPDATE 6/3/2026: The Archdiocese of Washington removed Stephen Rossetti as an exorcist following his social media claim that UFOs are flying demons, saying Rossetti contradicted the Church's teachings on demonic entities.

If Satan hates the oligarchy so much can't he just hijack everything with a screen and tell us that. Instead I'm supposed to think that Satan is doing his godly mission with the plan of "What if lights in sky?" It's official everyone, Satan is no longer a trusted comrade in the class war.

From a strictly Biblical point of view, as in the Gospels, the demons are mere unclean spirits that were around in Christ's day, were around before that and after that too, until the Judgement --- when He drove them from someone, He taught, they go through dry places with no water, looking for something else to possess, but they would not be corporeal or visible in any way or have flying saucers, they can only possess a victim...

If unclean spirits go to dry places with no water, then what are marine spirits?

https://www.reddit.com/r/religiousfruitcake/comments/1rtn68z/apparently_sex_outside_marriage_masturbation_and/

Apparently, that is how some Christian missionaries demonized the aquatic deities of some parts of Africa and the Caribbean. Imagine the horror if they learn of all the aquatic monsters in Japanese folklore. Imagine what they think of Lovecraft. Scary!

According to the Bible, the unclean spirits whom Jesus Christ drove from someone transferred into a herd of swine driven off a high cliff and drowned in the water below the cliff. Could that explain why you wrote Jesus Christ taught they go to dry places with no water?

Funny thing is the new celebrities in ufology make a big deal about how many UFO sightings happen near water, ignoring the obvious facts that Earth is mostly covered in water, and most of the population on the planet lives near the coasts.

J.D. Vance seems to be taking up the UFO disclosure mantle of his great uncle Laurance "Spellbound" Rocket (Ship) Feller. The Veep is having some fun with it. I don't expect it to go any further than that.

In ancient Egypt, Set was the god of the barren regions, i.e., the "red lands" or deserts away from the fertile Nile. So, this profile must have crept into Christian demonology.

The cosmic analog is of course the Greys, who generally inhabit brown and red dwarf star systems that are isolated, cold and dark, hence they have those "better to see you with, Betty Davis" eyes. They don't particularly value main-sequence star systems or planets like the Earth, and wouldn't be expected to care about humans. However, some of the Greys have gone over to the service of other ET types, so there's no way to know the intent. Just assume it's not good (lol). In any event, they seem to have the "Fear of Jesus" put into them, the Cosmic Jesus, at least.

Our most recent Bad Ass ET Jesus Colonizers came from "water worlds" in the Constellation of Aries (a.k.a. "Benjamin" and "Poseidon"), so there may be something to the increased sightings and importance of USO's. Well, now ya know.

What needs done is to put all those ufo photos and videos through Greb’s cell phone photo cringer. If demons pop up then we know it is a farce, cause everyone knows Greb is a moron. If demons don’t pop up, then we still know it is Oscar Meyer. Garbage in, garbage out, filtered through infantile minds. What more can one expect?Add the ‘shroom filter for sheets and giggles.

Can somebody here please explain the whole drama of Anthony? I know it has something to do with the Rune Stone in Minnesota, a well known hoax dated to the Nineteenth Century. Why does Anthony insist on using cell phones instead of real cameras? The grooves on the sides of the Rune Stone are typical of glacial till, but Anthony claims to see artwork hidden in the natural striations. Is Anthony's claim about the Rune Stone compatible with Scott's?

Should you want to go down that rabbit hole this site has a search feature, sometimes googling site:jasoncolavito.com works better but yeah cool okay there you are. Search terms you can start with are obviously his actual name, "Anthony Warren" (I did say rabbit hole), and "Priceless Defender" as well as "baptistry", "mappa mundi" and "cell phone".

If you really want to dig, there's https://scottwolteranswers.blogspot.com/ but keep in mind the constant changing of names.

For a long time he was on an "Everything in mythology is about stars and constellations" jag then they changed his medications and "Ogdoad" was the thing for him. So there's another search term for you. Also he claims to be a five time state champion so that's more grist for your mill.

He once paid a vanity press to have a poem published, so the story goes, and gets really peevish about folks using his "name" like Rumpelstiltskin.

The time of year is appropriate, you could spend many a Summer's Eve unraveling this hot mess of delusion. Welcome!

Each screen name originally used by Anthony was taken over by Kent's buddy, the Buddhist. The reason for the changing names on this site. He never changed his name for Scott's blog. He's never paid a dime to have anything published. A member of five state championship teams in high school. Three in football and two in Track. This is public information.

Anthony used a cell phone on medieval cartography to help bring out the Newport Tower. Helped to demonstrate that it was constructed in the 12th century. During the process, he discovered hidden secret messages that no one knew existed. The process predates the birth of the man given credit for inventing it by over a century.

The Kensington Runestone was not a local rock. According to an accurate translation, it was a Holy Stone from Vinland. The stone had been carved, sculpted and decorated on all six sides. Mr Wolter had all of this when he first took possession of the Stone. Over 90% of that artwork is no longer there. This includes the back side that had fairly pristine artwork that was only faded. It only required darkening the image to recover. It's now gone and there is a borehole added. Mr Wolter is partially responsible for one of the greatest cultural losses ever. ACCORDING TO HIS OWN BLOG.

"Glacial till"? Have you ever seen the stone in person? The back side has a glass like finish. Some of the artwork is still there in spots. Only the underlying sculpted carving remains on the front inscription side. They applied decorations that were there when Scott first took possession of the Stone, are no longer there now. ACCORDING TO HIS OWN BLOG. The side inscription side still contains a colored sculpted carving.

The Runestone needs to be completely reevaluated.

Anthony is currently working on a famous kidnapping case. Now at over 10 million views and counting. What this has to do with aliens or the current topic at hand is beyond me?

I can't speak for anybody else but if you aren't Julius Caesar, you don't need to speak in third person.

Yes, it is glacial till. No, the back does not have a "mirror-like finish." Anthony Greb/Berg/Warren is, like Scott Wolter, convinced there's a message in a rock that a Swedish farmer found under his porch, sculpted, and claimed it was five hundred years old. There is more, but those are the core facts.

A Buddhist had a completely different writing style from Anthony; while it is possible they are the same person the odds against it are on par with a secret inland empire of Scandinavians in North America with only one stone as evidence.

Instead of accusing me of using AI, perhaps you should Google me. I have been using a cellphone as a poor man's version of multispectral imaging for over 8 years now. All of these images were done on a Motorola Z3. A phone that's been obsolete for years now.
I had my co-author credits stripped from me after, I began demonstrating the Kensington Rune Stone had been decorated on all six sides before the Runic inscription was ever added. An inscription, I had figured out over 3 years ago. Everyone has been fed a forced Minnesota-centric mistranslation for 128 years now.
I have published one solo paper demonstrating proof of concept for Medieval Cartographic Steganography. There are hidden secret messages in works of Cartography that no one knew existed. They are revealed like magic by viewing the image through a colored lens. I am no longer publishing any of my work to Academia. They've changed their rules whereby publishing your work, they take ownership and can make money off of it. ALL of my research is FREE. Including the 85-page chapter of the book publishing my name and some of my work in December of 2024.
I have never once asked for a follower and never will.
I have not monetized my account and never will.
I'm not trying to sell you anything and never will.
There are several projects that I can't wait to tell everyone about. Unfortunately, I am not the person in charge of the timetable for publication on those projects and not able to discuss them yet.

That's nonsense, Jason. Everybody knows that Satan was an actual physical being whose impact at the site of modern Jerusalem created a tiered crater to the center of the Earth, that the southern hemisphere has an exactly matching mountain that reaches all the way to the Moon somehow, and that angels live in space, not demons.

Or that's what the famous Manichaean Dante Alighieri taught us.

Been months since any new news from Mark Christopher Lee.

Ufology's turn to into Satanic Panic was not sudden, it happened years ago, in fact it goes all the way back to the beginning.

Over the course of millennia, advances in astronomy required updates to cosmologies where mythologies were set, which eventually led modern ufologists and ancient astronaut theorists to reinterpret stories about the arrival of gods in mythologies as coming from outer space, the way modern people know the sky. Regardless, the Flat Earth Society is now more popular than ever, motivated by literal interpretations of religious text and mythology. Some people do not believe in the existence of outer space, therefore they have difficulty with the idea of spacecraft in space.

Thought Republicans believe private corporations are supposed to be superior to governments, especially the federal government.

The story of what Knoxville's representative said was covered too.

https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOReligion/comments/1tu5itw/breaking_per_burchett_white_house_officials_ufo/

Remember some interviews years ago when he said he believed UFOs are not demons from dimensions, instead favoring the now unfashionable Extraterrestrial Hypothesis in which UFOs hailed from distant star systems home to intelligent extraterrestrial life.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2uL7S5uPJk

https://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2023-08-31-show/

Could explain why Knoxville's Representative said disclosure of the secret existence of extraterrestrial life would not disrupt his personal religious beliefs. Remember when he called defense contractors "war whores", atypical for a Republican in Congress. Is Knoxville, Tennessee not home to any defense contractors willing to contribute funds to Tim's next reelection campaign?

It’s enemy (for some reason) for hundreds of years has been the principles of freemasonry. Why? Because the three pillars of FM are:

1. Church State separation
2. The emancipation of women
3. Limits on state power

All three of these are distrusted and loathed by the heads of the Catholic Church. Not the laity really. Freedom of religion (which extends to all forms of expression/philosophy, life choices, etc) has always been hated by the leaders of the Catholic Church because it suggests that there is no correct religion. That all are equally valid. Catholic Church can’t just kill people like it did in medieval times though. We are WATCHING them now and they are limited by constitutional freedoms.

Therefore the church must somehow conflate individual liberty (thus de facto freemasonry) with error; and the way it’s going to do this is to conflate ancient knowledge and aliens with error. Which will be done by claiming that aliens are demons. In this way freemasonry being “in league” with Demons can be solidified as a new truth over decades of time.

What’s the most effective LONG RANGE way to do this? The answer (aside from baiting the orthodox Jews into building a temple in 2034-2041 timeframe) is to support, anticipate, inspire, maneuver and probably slow walk a benevolent “alien invasion”. Beginning like Arthur C Clarke‘s version but not ending that way.

First “aliens” will bring unfathomable ancient knowledge benefiting the entire human race. But then after maybe a few years (or maybe it will take 50), by which time the Catholic Church will be all but irrelevant and destroyed), the aliens will then turn on the human race and start eating our children. They will be programmed to do this.

After this they’ll be probably an eschatological (and designed) 2nd apocalypse, destroying the temple, destroying (through plagues and famine, wars etc) 2/3 of the human race etc. etc.

This can only be possible if the “aliens” are not aliens at all, but manufactured pseudo- hybrid beings who can be programmed to be skilled, knowledgeable, beneficial and then eventually malicious. Then switched off.

All this just so that the church can rise from the ashes (after all the prophetic bad guys have been killed including the “demons“) and gain control of the world, which it believes it must do, or God will punish them. The false second coming of “Jesus“ (who knows when but definitely after 2041) will be a complete sham, will convince all of the nutcase protestants and Maga, and will set the stage for a fourth Reich on earth which will be called by them the “millennial reign“. It’s all in their Bible. Jesus will slay the alien/demons and send them to the lake of fire you know.

The entire motivation for the church inspiring all this (championed by fearful demon - obsessed US military fucksticks) is to eventually regain control like it had in the 14 and 1500s. Make no mistake she has been pissed off about losing that power ever since, and the United States of America with its religious freedom nearly put the nail in that coffin.

Note the three pillars of Freemasonry mentioned above are each being threatened, obstructed, opposed and eliminated by the Trump administration in the most rapid and visceral fashion we have ever seen since the beginning of the country. This is necessary in order to set the stage for the beginnings of the Jerusalem temple in 2034. It’s also necessary for the United States and Israel to be essentially one nation. This is moving forward at breakneck speed right now. It helps that they have an American pope in other words.

And to restate what was initially stated. The church has removed/disciplined/defrocked the cardinal (who claimed that aliens are demons) because the church is pretending to be infected with freemasonry. They have been doing this for decades. It absolves them of all the horrors they have actually inflicted on the human race because they can say “I was possessed, infected, etc bullshit bullshit bullshit”

Time is short, pussies.
The absolute undisputed indefatigable enemy of the human race is, always has been and always will be the holy Roman catholic church. They will stop at nothing to regain their hegemony. They have waited for centuries for 2034.

Sounds like you have, or imagine you have, direct insights to secrets none of us know anything about. How were you chosen for all this to be revealed to you, may I ask??

"Sudden"? The idea that UFOs might be/actually are demons has been around in fringe communities for at least 30 years, Jason. If your scoops don't get any fresher than that, we're all gonna catch a nasty bowel infection...
