On a recent episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, aspiring UFO czar Tucker Carlson sat down with UFO-obsessed journalist Michael Schellenberger, and part of their conversation revolved around the question of what UFOs really are. Schellenberger, began by fluffing Carlson and Joe Rogan with praise for the size of their audiences and their interest in UFOs, and then gushed over Rogan’s close relationship with Elon Musk before asking Carlson to explain why he and Rogan differ from Musk on the question of UFOs. Musk does not believe in an otherworldly threat, while Rogan thinks their ETs and Carlson… well, he reiterated his own evolving view that they are “spiritual entities” straight out of the Book of Enoch. Carlson began his comments by denying that Musk denies the reality of UFOs before transitioning into ritual praise for Grand Vizier Musk and Maximum Leader Trump: “Obviously, I love them both.” After the declaration of fealty, Carlson explained his view of UFO occupants: “Of course they’re not from Mars. They’re not from another planet. They’re from here. They’ve always been here. These are spiritual entities This is my view, and I sincerely believe it. Can’t prove it!”
Carlson then said that Musk found no evidence of aliens because the entities are not arriving from another planet, and therefore would not be picked up by Musk’s satellites. “It’s clear that these things reside deep in the earth, under the water, and in the atmosphere. I do think all the puzzle pieces are sort of in plain sight.” Carlson finished his comments by discussing Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess’s unauthorized flight to Scotland during World War II. Carlson said Hess told the British that Hitler had summoned demons through occult means, and Carlson said he asked Vladimir Putin about the claim off camera following his interview with the Russian president last year. “I didn’t want to seem like a wacko,” Carlson said. Putin did not provide Carlson with a “satisfactory answer.” As best I can tell, Carlson’s story seems to be a garbling of two sources. The first is Hess’s son Wolfgang, who said that his father was obsessed with astrology and had undertaken his actions because he had read Hitler’s horoscope and consider the time propitious for success. The second is Morning of the Magicians, in which Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier claimed that Hess had introduced Hitler to the Thule Group, Theosophy, and Satanism, through which Hitler eventually gained power through summoning demons. It should greatly disturb us that Carlson is apparently conversant in the Nazi occultism of Morning of the Magicians—which, I will remind you is completely made up (Pauwels and Bergier fabricated most of the material in the Nazi section)—and is actively spreading it among U.S. and Russian elites.

God I wish Carl Sagan would come back to life somehow...anyway this bit...I don't always agree with Elon but in this case I tend to agree with his line of thinking...I've not seen any sort of credible evidence whatsover that UFOs exist. Period. But then again...if I was a ufo and managed to make my way all the way over here I'd probably have some sort of ability to remain hidden...and I'd probably not like humans for doing what they've done to a lot of the other things on earth so maybe I'd stay hidden too...
