A few weeks ago I mentioned the inaugural post in Gary L. Pullman's series on sex and horror, which mentioned me and my book Knowing Fear. The newest part was posted on Tuesday, which you can read here. While I am flattered that Pullman apparently enjoyed my book, I must say I was surprised to see him following it nearly point for point as he apparently tries to rewrite my book to support his Christian interpretation of horror.

To improve the content offerings on JasonColavito.com, I have started a new section called The Library. Here, I will be collecting classic texts on archaeology, ancient history, pseudoscience, and the supernatural. The first texts are already up, including selections from Voltaire, Ignatius Donnelly, and Charles Fort. Look for more books and articles to be added in the coming days and weeks.
Good news! After 18 months of waiting, my comedic horror story "Breakfast of the Living Dead" is finally on the road to publication. The story was accepted in late 2009 for publication in the Library of Horror's theme anthology on bacon and horror, but the anthology was frequently delayed. The Library has appointed a new editor to oversee the project, and it is now actually happening. I will post an anticipated publication date as soon as I have one.
