Lost Worlds of Ancient America is making me angry, and I suppose it’s all to the good. I didn’t want to review it chapter by chapter, but it seems that somebody has to do the research to show why convicted sexual predator and neo-Nazi Frank Joseph and his Mormon hyper-diffusionist publisher at Ancient American are corrupting history with their demonstrably untrue claims. So, on to chapter 4.

Just because my readers are so special, I have a special bonus post today.
And the hits just keep on coming. In chapter 3 of “Frank Joseph’s” anthology of Ancient American articles, Lost Worlds of Ancient America, Scott Wolter of American Petrographic Services, a company specializing in analyzing construction materials for failure assessment, declares the Bat Creek Stone—a century-old hoax—to be genuine for reasons that don’t make much sense to me. The first three are, in order:
Yesterday I gave an overview of the new anthology Lost Worlds of Ancient America edited by convicted sex offender and former Neo-Nazi Frank Collin, writing as “Frank Joseph.” Today I will review the second chapter of the book, covering the alleged discovery of Roman artifacts in the United States. The chapter is divided into two sections, the first by Mormon hyper-diffusionist Wayne May, who has a vested interest in proving prehistoric trans-oceanic contact in order to provide support for the Book of Mormon.
I wasn’t sure what to make of The Lost Worlds of Ancient America when the new anthology from New Page Books showed up on my doorstep yesterday. The volume claims to be a selection of articles detailing “compelling evidence” of prehistoric European visitors to America, lost technology, and other currently unsupported suggestions about ancient America. In reality, it is a collection of articles from Ancient American magazine, the publication edited (until 2007), like this anthology, by “Frank Joseph,” the pen name of 68-year-old Frank Collin, a former neo-Nazi convicted in 1980 of sexually molesting underage boys. (For details, see here.)
I have some good news to share. I've just signed a contract for my next book, and I will be announcing the full details soon. For now, let me provide just a few teasers about it.
More details to come! |
