The following list of titles are the books H. P. Lovecraft listed as being the titles he owned on the weird in his August 27, 1932 letter to Clark Ashton Smith, a letter now held in the Northern Illinois University Library. The headings and listings follow those of the original. An earlier transcription was published by D. Franklin Coffman, Jr. in 2000, with several errors. A complete bibliography of all books owned by Lovecraft appeared in S. T. Joshi’s Lovecraft’s Library (3rd. ed., 2002).
