In anticipation of next week's Halloween episode of Ancient Aliens, in which zombies and vampires will be attributed to alien intervention, I present another entry in my ongoing series of weird old art. Today's image depicts the sorcerer Edward Kelly (or Kelley) (1555-1597) raising the spirit of a dead man from within a mystic circle:
Obviously, Kelly is actually speaking to a hologram of his alien overlords from within a crop circle. We know this to be true because Kelly worked with John Dee, the noted occultist, on the Enochian language, a non-terrestrial tongue communicated to the two occultists in a videophone devise in the form of a crystal ball by aliens masquerading as "angels." Or the whole thing was just made up. You know, one of those two things. Really, who can say?
